FocusForge is a browser extension that provides a Pomodoro timer, a task list, and a website blocker for focus sessions.
What data FocusForge stores
FocusForge stores the following information locally in your browser only, using the browser's built-in storage APIs:
- Your timer settings (session lengths, blocklist toggle)
- Your list of blocked websites
- Your task list
- Your current timer state
What FocusForge does NOT do
- It does not send any of the above data to any server
- It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts
- It does not collect your browsing history
- It does not sell or share any data, because none is collected or transmitted
Permissions explained
- storage — save your settings, tasks, and timer state locally
- alarms — keep the Pomodoro timer accurate in the background
- notifications — alert you when a session ends
- declarativeNetRequest — redirect blocked sites during a focus session
